If you've traveled to other countries throughout SEA (Thailand, Vietnam, etc.), know that Singapore is much more expensive. I'd compare it with some of the more expensive place to live in the US (NYC, Boston, LA, Chicago).
π° Budget
They don't call it a subway, like we do in the US. They call it the train or MRT. It's cheap and reliable. I loved using it to get around.
π Transportation
They've got city bikes everywhere. I rented one one afternoon and took it from Marina bay through east coast park to a hawker (East Coast Lagoon Food Village).
