Neighborhood Breakdown

Oakwood

Historic part of downtown raleigh. Mostly bungalows and cute 1 story homes. I’d love to live here but I can’t afford it. Great area to just walk around. I love walking around oakwood before grabbing a pizza and a beer at oakwood.

Glenwood South

This is the going out part of raleigh. Bars, restaurants, clubs. On the weekends it’s packed until around 1-2am.

Hillsborough Street

North tip of NC State's campus. There's a couple of iconic restaurants still left on Hillsborough street (most are gone sadly). Mitches, Players Retreat. Fun to walk around on and maybe bop into State's campus. I wouldn't want to live here as a 30 year old, non college kid.

North Hills

Sort of like a second downtown along the northern tip of the beltline. Bunch of restaurants and bars. Nice architecture and layout to just walk around for a bit.
